At Sweet Lemon Candy and
www.SweetLemonCandy.com, we are committed to delivering our handcrafted freeze dried treats safely, promptly, and in full compliance with California Cottage Food regulations. As a registered cottage food operation based in Garden Grove, California, we are only legally authorized to ship within the state of California.


Please review our shipping policy below for details on eligibility, processing times, and delivery expectations.

1. California-Only Shipping


Under California Cottage Food Law, Sweet Lemon is licensed to sell and ship products within the state of California only. We cannot ship to addresses outside of California, including other U.S. states or international locations. Any out-of-state orders will be canceled and refunded.

2. Standard Shipping


We offer free standard shipping on all eligible orders within California.

Processing & Delivery Time:

  • Orders are generally processed and shipped within 3–7 business days.
  • Delivery times may vary based on location but typically arrive within 2–5 business days after shipment.

Once shipped, tracking information will be provided via email.

3. Local Delivery Option


If you’re located within 10 miles of our facility in Garden Grove, California, you may qualify for free local hand-delivery.
Select the Local Delivery option at checkout, and we’ll coordinate a drop-off directly to your door—quick, convenient, and free!

4. Shipping Carriers


Orders are shipped through reputable carriers such as USPS or UPS, at our discretion. Shipping methods are chosen based on reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. We will provide tracking information once your order has been shipped.

5. Risk of Loss


We take great care in packaging each order to ensure safe delivery. Once your package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, risk of loss or damage is transferred to the customer. If your order arrives damaged, please review our
Return & Replacement Policy and contact us right away with photos for resolution.

6. Shipping Limitations


Please note the following:

  • We do not ship to P.O. boxes, international addresses, or U.S. territories outside California.
  • Orders that cannot be fulfilled due to shipping restrictions will be promptly canceled and refunded.
  • Delivery delays may occasionally occur due to weather, carrier delays, or unforeseen events beyond our control.
